Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with 3+ years of experience in commercial interior fit-out projects to independently manage and execute day-to-day site activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution, quality, coordination, and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day site execution for commercial fit-out projects.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other site activities.
• Read and interpret working drawings and coordinate with the design team for clarifications/revisions.
• Monitor manpower, materials, work progress, and site requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality and proper workmanship.
• Identify site issues, resolve execution challenges, and avoid delays or clashes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams during site execution.
• Maintain daily/weekly progress reports, measurements, material records, and site documentation.
• Assist in quantity verification, BOQ checking, billing, snagging, and project handover.
• Ensure site safety, discipline, and timely completion of assigned activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on site experience, preferably in commercial interior/fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial fit-out execution and coordination.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Good contractor/vendor management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and site management abilities.
• Ability to independently handle multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
