We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer / Site In-Charge to independently manage civil construction and finishing works for our residential project in Bengaluru/ Maduari/Chennai.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise day-to-day site execution.
- Coordinate civil, finishing and related subcontractors.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, doors/windows and other finishing works.
- Ensure work is executed according to drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality and rectify defects/snagging.
- Maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants and subcontractors.
- Check quantities and coordinate measurements/billing.
- Monitor material requirements and wastage.
- Ensure proper site safety practices and PPE compliance.
- Track project schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals.
- Manage manpower and subcontractor productivity.
- Assist in project handover and final snag rectification.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 4–8 years of relevant site experience.
- Experience in residential/apartment construction preferred.
- Strong experience in civil + finishing works.
- Ability to independently manage subcontractors and site activities.
- Good knowledge of drawings, measurements and construction practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to take ownership of project timelines and quality.
- Candidates currently based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate preferred.
