Role Description
- Plan and supervise day-to-day construction activities at site
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards
- Review drawings, feasibility, and resolve technical issues
- Take ownership of site deliverables with full accountability
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
Key Responsibilities
- Execute site planning, scheduling, and supervision
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments (MSRA)
- Maintain site records: DPR, delay register, NCR, logs
- Manage petty cash and local procurement
- Raise RFIs and ensure timely clarifications
- Track delays and drive corrective actions
- Monitor QA/QC and HSE standards (zero defects & hazards)
- Handle subcontractor measurements (RA & IPC)
- Optimize resources (S-curves, histograms)
- Ensure minimal wastage and efficient material usage
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Support construction scheduling and contractor guidance
- Coordinate MEP works and cross-functional interfaces
- Experience: 10+ years in construction/project execution
- Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project
- Experience in luxury residential projects preferred
- Good communication skills (Tamil / English / Hindi)
- Strong leadership, ownership, and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards and adapt quickly
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Project Engineering and Project Planning. Knowledge of best practices in managing residential construction projects is required.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Solid background in Electrical Engineering with experience in evaluating and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related fields). Relevant certifications in Project Management are a plus.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial construction is an advantage.
