We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer for our Primary Substation team in India AND ABROAD The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electrical engineering and project management, with a focus on designing and implementing primary substations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop primary substation layouts and schematics.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for substation installations.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports related to substation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all engineering activities.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in substations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the construction and operational phases.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10-18 years of experience in project engineering within the power sector, specifically with primary substations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and substation design standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of relevant national and international electrical standards and codes.
