Project Engineer - Precision Machining

We are looking for passionate candidates who love solving problems & fixing things that keep breaking. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project manager / Business development managers with project documentation, customer interactions, costing, and scheduling, and be a single point of contact between engineering, production & customers once the account is established. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks completion. 

Responsibilities

1. Assist the BD team in project coordination & communication with the customers to ensure project success
2. Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
3. Responsible for RFI and submittal process
4. Owing the project from start to stop and being the driver for each project 

Qualifications

1. Mavericks have worked on multiple academic projects like SAE BAJA, Shell Eco-Marathon or solved real-world industrial problems. 
2. Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
3. Or MBA in Marketing or Operations
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques & processes to guide the customers / internal departments
