Job Description
We are seeking a qualified professional with strong experience in handling electrical projects for government institutions, including ESCOMs and other government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of government tendering processes, compliance requirements, and project execution standards.
Key Responsibilities
Government Project Handling
- Manage end-to-end electrical projects for government institutions and ESCOMs.
- Coordinate with officials from BESCOM, MESCOM, HESCOM, GESCOM, and other government bodies.
- Ensure project execution meets government standards, timelines, and specifications.
Tender Management
- Prepare and submit government tenders as per prescribed guidelines.
- Review tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all documents comply with government norms, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain documentation, BOQs, certifications, and compliance records.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors for seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
Technical & Compliance Skills
- Strong understanding of government electrical project requirements.
- Knowledge of standards related to HT/LT systems, electrical installations, and safety compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory, legal, and quality norms.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain professional relationships with government departments and key decision-makers.
- Attend government meetings, site inspections, negotiations, and pre-bid discussions.
- Provide technical clarifications during tender evaluations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Experience working with ESCOMs and government agencies.
- Strong knowledge of government tender preparation, submission, and compliance processes.
- Good understanding of electrical project execution and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Kannada language knowledge preferred (not mandatory).
- Must have prior work experience in Bangalore.
