Project Engineer

With over 140 unique lighting products and more than 100,000 units delivered to 1,500 clients in 19 countries, the company focuses on client-centric engineering solutions. The team provides software-based lumen reports, custom fixture designs, and detailed power consumption calculations to support efficient, tailored lighting projects.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Project Engineer will manage end-to-end project execution for LED lighting solutions, from initial requirements gathering and technical feasibility analysis to final commissioning and handover. Responsibilities include preparing project plans, technical drawings, load calculations, and material specifications, as well as coordinating with internal design, procurement, production, and quality teams. The role involves conducting site surveys, supervising installations, ensuring compliance with electrical and safety standards, and resolving technical issues during execution. The Project Engineer will interact regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide status updates, address technical queries, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering for designing, reviewing, and implementing LED lighting solutions.
• Demonstrated ability in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, resource coordination, and risk management.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in lighting projects, building services, or electrical contracting is preferred; familiarity with lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, Relux) is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, standards, and compliance requirements; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
