Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to oversee the Installation & Commissioning

operation, maintenance of electrical substations SCADA enablers like (RTU, FRTU, LDMS, MPLS,

etc) within the power transmission network. The ideal candidate will ensure reliability, safety, and

compliance with industry standards while managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems (Movicon, GE CIMPLICITY, Siemens

WinCC, Wonderware or equivalent) at site.

Installation and Commissioning (I&C), Testing, Training & Operation and

Maintenance (O&M) of RTU, FRTU, LDMS, MPLS, etc

Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, NERC, OSHA, NFPA, and local

regulations).

Develop and implement safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response

plans.

Work with utilities, PMA (Consultant), SCADA Team and vendors for project

execution and compliance.

Work with site engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.

Prepare operational reports, performance analysis.

Ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols for substation automation and protection

systems.

Required Qualifications

2-5 years or more of experience in substation operations, maintenance, or construction.

Strong knowledge of substation equipment, protection systems, SCADA, and

automation technologies.

Experience with high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission systems.

Familiarity with relay coordination, fault analysis, and power system stability.

Strong leadership and project management skills.

Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.

Proficiency in substation design software, maintenance management systems, and

SCADA platforms.
