Project Engineer ELV

Role Description The Project Engineer ELV role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing ELV and IBMS solutions, including systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and building automation. The Project Engineer will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to manage project timelines, resources, and technical documentation. Daily responsibilities include site supervision, quality checks, resolving technical issues, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The role also requires active participation in project planning, risk identification, and continuous improvement of engineering and installation practices.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with hands-on experience in ELV and IBMS systems.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should possess practical knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and building automation.
• Relevant bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in on-site project execution, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning of ELV/IBMS systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with basic project and documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD or similar design software) is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to work at client sites as needed.
