Project Engineer - Electrical

Job Description

Manage electrical projects from conceptualization to completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

. Oversee on-site electrical installations, testing, and commissioning activities and handing over to client [ LT Panels, MV Panel, Transformers, Earthing system & LPS etc.]

. Coordinate effectively with Site engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project integration and execution.

. Ensure all designs and installations strictly adhere to relevant local, national (e.g., NEC/BECOM, CEIG norms etc.), and international electrical codes, safety standards, and quality specifications.

. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to meet standard Quality of work at site.

. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams.

. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality electrical projects.

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment.

. Proficiency in using electrical design software (AutoCAD).

. Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and safety standard at site.

. Implementing strict HSE protocols, conducting risk assessments.

. Performing site audits and ensuring proper usage of PPE.

Qualifications

Graduation in Electrical Engineering.

6 to 8 years of experience in Electrical Construction Industry.
