We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work throughout the construction process of a building. This role requires a sound understanding of how MEP settings impact construction, ensuring design constructability, statutory compliance, seamless coordination, and high-quality execution from planning through to handover.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design & Compliance Management:
- Actively engage in initial design development of MEP Services and assess constructability of the design.
- Review legal and statutory compliance of design and follow up on obtaining approvals in time.
- Coordination & Execution Oversight:
- Co-ordinate with all disciplines of Services Design.
- Ensure Contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval.
- Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution in a timely and sequential manner.
- Execute services work as per the drawings and specification in line with schedule and quality.
- Procurement & System Implementation:
- Provide value addition in the selection of vendors & local material supply vendors in line with the agreed procurement process with the Client.
- Responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment related to all services (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing, Firefighting).
- Handover & Training:
- Manage handovers, ensuring all works are complete as per vendor contracts.
- Ensure receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as-built drawings.
- Initiate training to the taking-over team through the Contractor and Consultants.

Qualifications
- A B.E. Electrical/Mech degree.
- Proven experience particularly in Hospital / Multi-Specialty projects.
