Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

  • Manage day-to-day technical and engineering activities of crane EPC projects.
  • Review client specifications, technical documents, and project scope to ensure design compliance.
  • Coordinate with design teams for layout, GA drawings, and structural requirements.
  • Liaise with procurement and vendors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Supervise fabrication, erection, installation, and testing of cranes on site.

Planning & Coordination

  • Prepare and track project schedules using MS Project or equivalent tools.
  • Interface with internal departments design, procurement, quality, and site teams to align with project milestones.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and generate project status reports.

Client & Vendor Communication

  • Attend technical meetings, site coordination meetings, and client reviews.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure all site activities adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of technical issues.

Documentation & Handover

  • Prepare and manage project documentation: ITPs, FAT/SAT reports, commissioning checklists, etc.
  • Support handover and closure activities post-commissioning.
  • Assist in as-built drawings and final documentation submission.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Structural Engineering
  • PMP certification (optional but advantageous)

Experience:

  • 38 years in handling projects related to cranes, hoisting systems, or material handling equipment
  • Experience in industrial, steel plants, power, ports, or infrastructure projects is preferred

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of EOT/Gantry/Jib/Tower crane structures and components
  • Familiarity with standards like IS, DIN, FEM, CMAA, IEC
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office
  • Understanding of load testing, commissioning, and safety protocols
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required
