BBM Heavy Machinery is the Indian subsidiary of BBM SpA Italy, specializing in the manufacturing of capital equipment, BBM manufactures equipment for Steel Rolling Mills, Strip Processing Lines, Railways, Defence and Mining sectors. Some of the high-end machinery include Extrusion Presses, Skin Pass Mill, Forging Press and more for OEMs worldwide. The manufacturing facility is located in Thane with capabilities in welding, machining, assembly, and testing.

Role Description

The Engineer will be responsible for manufacturing planning of equipment in compliance with drawings. Coordinating with cross-functional teams in workshop and purchase, monitoring project timelines, and engaging in problem-solving during the manufacturing process. The Engineer will also play a crucial role in quality control, troubleshooting, and optimizing production efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in engineering drawing interpretation.
• Experience in manufacturing processes including welding, machining, and assembly.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and resolve technical issues during production process.
• Project management abilities and experience in ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Previous experience in heavy machine manufacturing for Steel industry is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering with 8-10 years of experience.
