Location - Bangalore , KIADB Aerospace Park

Responsibilities

Composite UAV Structures: Meshing of parts, assemblies, and full structures; applying loads and boundary conditions.

Static Analysis: Linear and non-linear analysis for metallic/composite components, stress/strain, and joint calculations.

Composite Materials: ASTM-based testing, material property estimation, and coupon tests.

Vibration & Fatigue: Modal, harmonic, and fatigue analysis for structural components.

Design Iterations: Mesh updates and re-analysis for design changes.

  • Documentation: Detailed reporting of analysis results.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Strength of Materials and Aircraft Structures.
  • Proficiency in working with composite materials and performing analysis.
  • Familiarity with composite material testing per ASTM standards.
  • Hands-on experience with engineering hand calculations.
  • Expertise in meshing, applying loads, and boundary conditions for structural analysis.
  • Proficiency in ANSYS 2024 R1 (Mechanical APDL) and Space Claim.
  • Experience with vibrational (modal and harmonic) and fatigue analysis.
