Role Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Project Engineer / Project Manager with strong experience in New Product Development (NPD), New Product Introduction (NPI), and New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI). The candidate will be responsible for leading product development projects from concept to production, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful product launches within timeline, quality, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Lead end-to-end NPD/NPI/NPDI projects from concept, design, validation, and production launch.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.

•⁠ ⁠Develop project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and resource allocation plans.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time.

•⁠ ⁠Drive product feasibility studies, prototype development, testing, and validation activities.

•⁠ ⁠Conduct project review meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.

•⁠ ⁠Manage change requests, engineering changes, and project documentation.

•⁠ ⁠Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization activities.

Required Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

•⁠ ⁠3–5 years of relevant experience in NPD / NPI / NPDI projects.

•⁠ ⁠Maximum experience considered: 7 years.

•⁠ ⁠Strong project management and cross-functional team coordination skills.

•⁠ ⁠Experience with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes.

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

•⁠ ⁠Experience in automotive, manufacturing, engineering, industrial products, or electronics sectors.

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA, and Lean Manufacturing principles.

•⁠ ⁠PMP certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
