This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is # LI - Onsite.

This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Site Survey, Assessment, Technical Solution Preparation and supporting Bids proposals.

• Application Design and Implementation, HW engineering

• HMI Design and Implementation

• Document preparation like BoM, GA and IA drawings,FDS, Installation and operational procedures

• Integrated System testing (FAT)

• Startup, Installation and Commissioning

Qualifications for the role

• 6-10 years experience in Process Automation especially in the field of Oil & Gas / Refineries / Petrochemicals

• Experience on DCS- Retrofits, Upgrades, Service and Commissioning and Knowledge of ABB AC800M and Harmony Legacy Systems - Hardware and Software.

• Hands-on experience in Application Engineering with AC800M or Symphony Plus and Interested in learning and working with S+ if possessing knowledge in 800xA/AC800M.

• Knowledge in system installation, integration of servers and client computers in virtual environment, windows Administration and Working knowledge on Managed switches, Routers and Firewalls are an added advantage and Knowledge of Third-party Communication like MODBUS, OPC.

• Hands-on experience in producing documents ranging from pre-detailed engineering, system testing (FAT & IFAT) etc and Experience in any ABB systems like 800xA, AC800M, AC500 etc. will be an added advantage

• B. Tech / B.E from a reputed University with first class in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical engineering.
