Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop and set goals as well as organizational policies related to FEED and EPC Projects to achieve short and long-term financial and business goals.
- Strongly leverage and expertise in EPC projects for tank terminal and process plant, including project planning, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning.
- Steer and drive the changes in the business environment and technology by leading the operations so as to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of services in meeting the overall business plan.
- Set and control operating cost and budget to ensure all expenditure are in line with company's financial target.
- Set and establish overall strategies related to operations to drive towards company's overall target in achieving excellent customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Oversee execution of all projects to ensure they are carried out smoothly.
- Evaluate project progress and requirements and advise as appropriate to minimize exposure and risk.
- Manage and tackle challenges arises on operational matters to address concerns, safeguard and protect company's interests.
- Review quality assurance management to ensure efficiency and enhancement of processes, cost and overall service quality.
- Lead, coach and guide the staff in both of management skills and technical expertise in order to enhance capabilities and deliver up to expectations.
- Drive, monitor and review performance throughout the division to ensure employees are clear about the targets to be achieved and performance is aligned with the overall business goals.
- Lead and identify business opportunity and actively build client relationships to increase/expand revenue stream.
Requirements :
- Minimum Degree in Engineering discipline.
- More than 15-20 years of relevant experience from oil & gas industry, with at least 10 years in deep technical/project management capacity.
- Strong mechanical engineering background will be an added advantage, particularly with experience in storage tank EPC projects.
- Strong technical knowledge & project management skills such as time, resources management, project budgeting and scheduling. Certified PM will be highly advantageous.
- Proficient in preparing, developing, monitoring and reviewing detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Meticulous, eye for details, problem-solving & decision-making skills. Capable of working independently to resolve issues and challenges.
- Strong record of successful project completion ie. timely and smooth project completion and delivery of results meeting financial KPIs.
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
- Strong uphold of Health, Safety & Environmental at workplace and ensure strict compliance.
- Strong people management and leadership skills, ability to lead, motivate and inspire teamwork and staff development.
- Good stakeholder management skills, customer- relationship management skills.
- Good communication (spoken & written English), interpersonal, presentation, planning & coordination skills.
- Resilient, hardworking, team-player and ability to work under tight-timeline and pressure.
- Candidate should ideally be Singapore citizen.
