Job Purpose:
To lead and oversee large-scale renewable energy projects across geographies, managing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-controlled execution aligned with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of large scale solar/wind/EPC projects across multiple sites.
- Develop and review project schedules, execution plans and resource allocation.
- Supervise site managers and ensure alignment with company timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage vendor negotiations, contractor performance and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic project reviews and site visits to monitor progress.
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting time, cost or quality.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, documentation and audits.
- Train and mentor mid-level project staff and future project leads.
- Maintain stakeholder communication with clients, consultants, and internal leadership.
- Support the Head of Projects in strategy formulation and resource planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering; PMP/MBA preferred
- Significant experience in renewable energy project management and stakeholder handling
Key Competencies:
- Strategic execution planning
- Leadership in cross-functional, multi-site project teams
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Preferred Attributes:
- Proven track record in handling 100+ MW utility-scale renewable projects
- Proficient in ERP, Primavera and project tracking tools
