Job Brief
Are you an experienced construction leader who has successfully delivered large and complex projects We are looking for a highly skilled Project Director to lead major mixed-use developments and ensure successful project delivery from planning to completion.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on landmark projects, lead high-performing teams, and play a key role in shaping large-scale developments in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in managing projects valued between 1–1.5 billion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large mixed-use construction projects from start to finish.
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Direct procurement activities and ensure timely availability of resources.
- Oversee commissioning, handover, and operational readiness of completed projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
- Coordinate across multiple departments to achieve project objectives.
- Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
- 25–30 years of post-qualification experience in the construction industry.
- At least 10 years of successful experience as a Project Manager working for a contracting company.
- Proven experience delivering major mixed-use capital projects valued at QR 100 million or above.
- Experience managing projects valued between 1–1.5 billion.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience within the Arabian Gulf region.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, commissioning, operations, site safety, quality management, and project coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of proficiency in the English language.
