SUMMARY OF JOB:
- Responsible for Design & Project Execution of Data center Cooling products such as CDU (coolant Distribution unit) and Room cooling products.
- Executing the project schedule by Delivering ontime Product design ,BOM review and Proto build of the units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and customer expectations.
- Well-versed Developing unit 3D modeling and design tools such asCreo , Autocad ,PDM
- Involving in Vednor development andQve (Quality value engineering) to meet the product target price.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Executing the project schedule by Delivering Ontime Product design ,BOM review,Costing and Proto validation.
- Closely working with global engineering team for the Design transfer and review
- Interacting with cross functional team to check design feasibility and localization.
- Ensuring Product Design released as per the project schedule.
- Successful execution of protobuild and final design release
- Final BOM release for product mass production after successful validation of protobuild and necessary BOC/ECN update.
- Supporting Vendor development and parts validation for the protobuild and creating support documents for PPAP
- Preparing design documents (DFMEA, CP, Feasibility review)
- Production document handover & Solving Production issues related to design.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cooling product design and development.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all engineering activities.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech
- Years of experience: Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience and from cooling domain
