By partnering/collaborating with the companies/corporate, Government bodies and other key partners for more than 234 projects till date, SHARP is making health scalable, accessible, affordable and sustainable for the school children and communities.
Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of project activities at the field level. The role requires close coordination with stakeholders, field visits, documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of project activities as per timelines.
This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working both in office and field environments.
Responsibilities
Project Implementation & Coordination
Support implementation of project activities according to approved work plans
Coordinate with schools, community stakeholders, government departments, and partners
Ensure timely execution of project deliverables
Field Monitoring & Travel (Mandatory)
Regular travel to project locations/field areas for monitoring activities
Monitor quality of program implementation at ground level
Provide implementation support to field teams
Identify challenges in the field and report them with possible solutions
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, and activity records
Prepare periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly) as required
Support preparation of donor reports and internal presentations
Maintain proper documentation as per organizational processes
Administrative & Operational Support
Support logistics planning for project activities
Track project timelines and deliverables
Provide administrative support to the project team
Qualifications And Skills
Post Graduate in discipline of Social Science, Public Health or any related field, Post Graduate qualification will have advantage.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in the development sector at district and grass root level. Experience of working in international organization, UN and / or government on health and nutrition will be an advantage.
Prior work experience in the region and knowledge of local language is desired but not essential
Well versed with developing project management plans and implementation strategies
Understanding of the functioning of ICDS, Health/ RBSK/ RKSK, Self-help Groups, Youth clubs, and field level functionaries
Understanding of health and nutrition situation and challenges of the region
Experience of working in teams and with diverse stakeholders
