Summary Section

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for all phases of planning and execution on a small (typically less than $10 million total installed cost) project or may be responsible for a segment of a larger project. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls small engineering projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction. Possesses knowledge of the respective industry. May also serve as a proposal manager for small projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to KBR Zero Harm 24 x 7 and HSSE standards
  • Managing client expectations w.r.t to contractual requirements.
  • Taking care of three critical aspect of Project Execution i.e., Quality, Schedule and Cost without compromising on safety
  • Collaboration with different KBR offices to execute the project (One KBR approach).
  • Prepare estimates and provide suitable inputs for Commercial proposals to BD/ Sales team to bring new business.
  • Develop a complete Project Execution Plan and follow the same. Co-ordination with Client & all other project stake holders. Interact with vendors & project expeditors on need basis.
  • Responsible for preparation of job setup forms, project risk register with mitigation plan, establishing coordination protocol, arrange KOM with client, Invoicing, payment collection, client change orders, monthly progress reports for client, vendor invoice approvals, financial management of the project, preparation of project close out report for each project.
  • Arranging Client & Internal meetings to meet project objectives.
  • Visit Client office, KBR offices, vendor workshop and site on need basis
  • Ensure safety and quality compliance during project execution.
  • Should be able to handle multiple projects and flexible to work in different time zones

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years related experience, with average experience of 10-15 years.
  • Expertise to interface well with the project engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other members of the project team including the client.
