We are seeking a proactive Planning & Project Coordinator to oversee project coordination and planning, including scheduling, procurement, and resource management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, monitoring progress, and managing communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design Coordination & Review:
- Coordinate with all consultants and other stakeholders for design development.
- Conduct and record design review meetings.
- Coordinate with design consultants to ensure alignment with the design intent and project objectives.
- Monitor and report on progress of incorporating design intent in special areas.
- Deliverable & Schedule Management:
- Follow up with consultants for tender deliverables.
- Scheduling and tracking the GFC drawings delivery.
- Coordinate with the MEP manager and consultants for shop drawings and their approval.
- Establish priorities and short-term targets for all consultants to ensure continuous progress and adherence to the design schedule.
- Project Scheduling & Reporting:
- Prepare a master project schedule at macro and micro levels.
- Present the master schedule within various sub-schedule categories such as tender schedule and individual work packages.
- Track the master schedule periodically and derive reports for the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Generate all reports related to schedule, resource deployment, and costs.
- Work closely with all contractors to develop their respective schedules, ensuring they align with the master schedule.
- Generate various project-related reports.
