Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Controls / Planning Engineer with strong expertise in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) to support enterprise-level project planning, scheduling, cost control, and financial integration.
The role involves working across project scheduling, cost engineering, risk analysis, and reporting, supporting large-scale EPC, construction, and multi-project environments, while ensuring alignment with financial systems such as Oracle OPC / EPM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)
- Create baseline schedules, WBS, activity sequencing, and resource-loaded plans
- Track project progress and ensure adherence to milestones
2. Project Controls & Cost Management
- Monitor budget vs actual costs and perform variance analysis
- Support cost loading, forecasting, and financial tracking
- Assist in Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
- Provide cost control insights and recommendations
3. Oracle OPC / EPM Integration
- Support integration of project schedules with Oracle OPC / EPM systems
- Align project structures with:
- Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS)
- Financial reporting hierarchies
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and financial planning
4. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare:
- Weekly and monthly progress reports
- Schedule and cost variance reports
- KPI dashboards (Power BI preferred)
- Present project insights and performance metrics to stakeholders
5. Project Coordination
- Collaborate with:
- Project Managers
- Finance teams
- Procurement teams
- Contractors and vendors
- Ensure alignment between planning, execution, and financial tracking
6. Risk & Change Management
- Identify schedule and cost risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Perform delay analysis (EOT / TIA preferred)
- Support change management and re-baselining activities
- Recommend improvements based on industry best practices

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical preferred) or related field
- 26 years of experience in Project Planning, Scheduling, or Project Controls
- Experience in EPC / Construction / Infrastructure / Engineering projects preferred
- Exposure to multi-project environments is an advantage
Certifications (Preferred)
- Primavera P6 Certification
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
