Project Control Engineer

As a Project Manager in this leading petrochemical company's Hyderabad office, you will oversee the full project lifecycle of capital, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery across various global locations while ensuring compliance with safety, budget, quality, and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to closure across global manufacturing facilities.
• Define and track project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget parameters.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project control teams for seamless execution.
• Develop and implement project control systems to monitor progress, cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Prepare and present progress reports and performance updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety (HSE) standards, regulatory compliance, and company procedures.
• Utilize tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, and Power BI for effective project governance.
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement in project management practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (master's in project/construction management preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in EPC project management, preferably in the petrochemical or manufacturing sectors.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6, MS Projects, SAP, and project data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Proven track record in managing medium-to-large-scale capital projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.
