Job / Activity / KRA

.To Oversee the construction with a diverse planning of Rectifiers, Switchyard & substation designed to efficiently produce molten aluminum.

.Cordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and executed efficiently.

.Contributing specialized engineering expertise and insights to the detailed engineering phase.

.Identify potential project risks & technical challenges.

.Ensuring that all equipment/infrastructure meets specified design and quality standards.

.Prepare and implement rigorous safety, health, and environmental measures during the construction process

.Taking ownership to accomplish the projects within target time adhering safety guidelines.

Job Brief

1. As the Project Lead for Rectifier expansion, this role will play a pivotal role in a critical project aimed at significantly construction, installation, commissioning along with handover, for operation of Rectifier, Switchyard and Substation, CILMS.

2. Providing inputs to Engineering Consultant and ensuring implementation of design modification/addition carried out in existing plant to add in new plant.

3. Installation, Commissiong and maintenance of Construction power for whole project

4. Review and approval of designs drawings/documents of vendors in coordination with consultant.

5. Monitoring and review of project schedule in consultation with contractors, vendors to meet the project deadline

6. Reviewing of Safe Work Method for all activities.

7. Ensuring that all work meets the required standards and specifications through rigorous quality control processes.

8. Continuously monitoring project progress, addressing any deviations from the plan, and providing regular updates to stakeholders

9. Establish best engineering practices to ensure works are carried out as per the approved design with proper quality by way of introducing checklists.

10. Overseeing the final stages of the project, including commissioning, testing, and handover, to ensure the project meets all performance guarantee criteria and operational requirements.

11. Monitor and review the safety standards followed by different executing agency

12. Implementation of best safety practices in work areas to ensure ZERO HARM

13. Documentation of drawings and manuals for O&M. Development and Preparation of E&I safety, maintenance manuals for plant O&M.

14. Spare parts planning

Area of Relevant Experience

.Degree in Electrical or equivalent engineering

.Experience of Green field projects/ Brown field projects

.Experience of Operation and Maintenance of Rectifiers, Switchyards, Substations

Job Specific Technical Skill

.Domain knowledge of Maintenance and operation of EHV Switchyards, High Amperage Rectifiers, Pot room Electrical, Substations, Control & Automation and Electrical auxiliaries.

.Konwledge on Project Management, Construction Methodology & Sequence and Execution quality parameters
