About Position:
Progress DBA role responsible for managing QAD databases, ensuring performance, handling production issues, and providing 24/7 support with automation and backup management.

What You'll Do:
- You will manage Progress/QAD database environments, ensuring performance, availability, and smooth operations while supporting production systems and automating tasks.
- Monitor and improve database & system performance
- Handle production issues, outages & root cause analysis
- Manage backup, recovery & database health checks
- Work on automation and scripting for DB tasks
- Support 24/7 Cloud Ops and customer ticket resolution
- Create documentation, SOPs & deployment plans
Expertise You'll Bring:
- You will bring strong Progress/QAD database expertise, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation in a Cloud Ops environment.
- Experience in Progress/QAD database administration (Must-have)
- Strong skills in database performance tuning & issue troubleshooting
- Hands-on with Linux OS and SQL databases (MySQL / SQL Server / MariaDB)
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and database monitoring
- Experience in scripting & automation (Bash/Python)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
