What You Will Be Doing

The Digital organization drives this at Arrow by creating scalable, innovative, value-creating digital strategies, capabilities, and operations for the Global Components business.

The Programmatic Marketer is responsible for strategizing and executing programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple platforms and channels. This role requires an individual who can leverage automated buying technology, real-time bidding (RTB), and data-driven targeting to maximize campaign performance and ROI. The ideal candidate will have expertise in demand-side platforms (DSPs), audience segmentation, campaign optimization, and performance analysis. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives and continuously improve campaign effectiveness through data analysis and strategic adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Set clear goals and KPIs for programmatic campaigns, developing strategies that utilize data-driven decision-making
  • Actively participate in pre-campaign planning, mid-campaign optimizations, post-campaign evaluation, and accurate programmatic reporting
  • Work with algorithmic or artificial intelligence (AI) technology to make informed media buys
  • Manage, execute and optimize all real-time-bidding (RTB) & programmatically traded campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day relationships and negotiations with third party technology partners, DSPs and publishers where private deals are required
  • Identify high-value audiences and develop strategies for display and programmatic advertising
  • Leverage DSPs, RTB, and data-driven targeting for effective media buying
  • Execute programmatic campaigns from initial briefing stage through campaign setup, maintenance, optimization, and final reporting
  • Design the best media trading strategy by developing multiple campaign scenarios in consultation with teams

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Optimize digital campaigns in DSPs and other platforms, identifying quality leads and tracking their journey along the funnel
  • Set clear KPIs such as click-through rate (CTR), cost-per-action (CPA), and return-on-ad-spend (ROAS) to guide optimization efforts
  • Evaluate daily/weekly campaign performance reports delivering accurate campaign results and traffic routines
  • Use automated tools that identify and bid on the best opportunities in a fraction of a second
  • Use real-time analytics to adjust campaigns on the fly, optimizing cost-per-application (CPA) and cost-to-hire
  • Work with internal data intelligence teams to leverage data to drive campaign performance
  • Deliver timely, insightful reporting and analysis on the performance of programmatic campaigns
  • Analyze campaign parameters such as the most powerful locations and the best times of day
  • Design engaging visuals and copy, target the right audience, and optimize through A/B testing

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic advertising with demonstrated success in campaign management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of programmatic technology developments and implementation of tracking and retargeting strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, knowledge of digital marketing, and familiarity with ad tech tools
  • Understanding of programmatic advertising systems, including real-time bidding (RTB), demand-side platforms (DSPs), and supply-side platforms (SSPs)
  • Advanced understanding of Programmatic Marketing systems (DSP, DMP, ad serving platforms)
  • Strong grasp of marketing funnels, user acquisition, and retention via programmatic channels
  • High attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills & the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to be the go-to-person for campaign strategy
  • Experience working with multiple DSP platforms
  • Experience managing campaigns across a variety of platforms
  • Experience supporting real-time bidding (RTB) optimizations and strategy through ad exchange media buying
  • Advanced knowledge of audience segmentation & personalized messaging strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) and real-time trend monitoring
  • Experience in holistic marketing campaign analysis and driving effectiveness of interactive campaigns
  • Experience with privacy-first advertising approaches and knowledge of evolving regulations
  • Experience collaborating with other channel owners (Social, PPC, Affiliates) to improve overall digital marketing performance
  • Experience with automated systems for targeting candidates with precision
