About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Consultant to assist ICF in contributing to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. The candidate should have a strong academic background, have an ability to quickly learn & master new concepts, establish & nurture relationships, and think logically & creatively. The ideal candidate will support strategic and regulatory assignments, carry out market and policy research, analyse industry data, and assist in preparing reports and presentations for clients across the various energy sectors. You will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive data research. Responsible for maintaining a large database of energy markets, infrastructure, policies, pricing, and emerging technologies that must be updated regularly. Data sources include data-providers, industry publications, regulatory agencies and web research.
  • Provide technical inputs for programme/project formulation (e.g., scheme design, scope, eligibility, evaluation logic).
  • Support programme planning and monitoring at Mission level, including consolidation of progress inputs and risks.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, policy briefs, client presentations, and stakeholder consultation material.
  • Support generation of new business by contributing to proposal writing.
  • Developing forecasts, cost-benefit analysis, financial models, and implementation strategies for public and private sector clients.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders government bodies, industry partners, consultants, and international agencies.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enable seamless programme execution

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Masters degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in managing projects in natural gas and fuels sectors.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong quantitative and/or modeling skills, specifically database management and data analysis skills
  • Hands-on knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite esp. Excel and Power Point.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and delivering multiple complex programmes and projects in dynamic, multistakeholder environments.
    .Significant handson experience in leading and managing Green Hydrogen projects, with exposure across the production, handling, utilization, and emerging hydrogen value chains.

  • Effectively communicates information and ideas using speech and visual aids
  • Effectively organizes ideas for logical presentation and maximum impact
