The impact you'll make
As a Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for GIS. You'll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.
In this role, you will directly contribute to oversee and govern the delivery of business applications across the enterprise. The role includes managing vendor engagements, contract oversight, PR/PO administration, legal coordination, operational governance, and cross-functional program alignment. This position ensures smooth delivery operations so that application leads and managers can remain focused on execution and delivery of AOP projects and RTB initiatives.
The role handles coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, procurement, finance, and legal, and will have access to sensitive commercial information. It plays a critical part in scaling the India RFT organization and strengthening the operational backbone of application delivery.
What You'll Do
- Program Governance & Operational Management
- Establish and manage governance frameworks for business application delivery programs.
- Drive internal program reviews, including preparation and coordination of TAF, DRC, and other oversight forums.
- Track operational KPIs, risks, dependencies, and overall program health.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, application teams, and vendor execution.
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Lead and coordinate all vendor interactions for business application development and support.
- Oversee vendor contract lifecycle including SOWs, renewals, extensions, and compliance review.
- Work closely with procurement teams on PR/PO creation, tracking, and approvals.
- Maintain oversight of commercial terms, pricing, deliverables, and performance commitments.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive commercial/vendor information.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Coordinate and manage budget tracking related to project delivery, vendor costs, invoices, and operational expenses.
- Monitor spend versus plan and support financial forecasting.
- Reduce administrative burden on application leads and managers (estimated 10% workload savings).
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as a central point of coordination between product owners, application leads, project managers, vendors, procurement, legal, and leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication, issue escalation, and cross-team alignment.
- Prepare executive-level updates, presentations, and program dashboards.
- Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement standardized processes for vendor governance, contract reviews, program reporting, and delivery oversight.
- Identify gaps in operational workflows and introduce improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Drive adoption of best practices within the business applications team.
Minimum Qualifications
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of related experience in project management or program management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
