About Amazon.com

Amazon.com strives to be Earth's most customer-centric company where people can find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online. By giving customers more of what they want - low prices, vast selection, and convenience - Amazon.com continues to grow and evolve as a world-class e-commerce platform. Amazon's evolution from Web site to e-commerce partner to development platform is driven by the spirit of innovation that is part of the company's DNA. The world's brightest technology minds come to Amazon.com to research and develop technology that improves the lives of shoppers and sellers around the world.

About RBS
RBS is Amazon's cross-organizational layer connecting Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and Retail to solve customer problems. The Cost to Serve (CtS) High Risk Value (HRV) team tackles one of Amazon's largest cost leakage pools - shrink losses from high risk products.

The team operates across three pillars:
(1) Defect Identification: Models that flag high-risk ASINs and surface organized loss patterns earlier than traditional detection methods.
(2) Defect Elimination: End-to-end interventions across the supply chain - that prevent losses at source.
(3) Cross-Org Orchestration: Coordinating across multiple teams to drive shrink reduction at scale. The team's unique value is its ability to see across organizational boundaries and drive accountability through leadership-tracked cost-saving goals.

The primary objective: shift from reactive loss reporting to proactive, mechanism-driven prevention - reducing Cost to Serve and enabling Free Cash Flow by eliminating shrink at its root cause across the end-to-end supply chain.
Why You'll Love This Role:

You'll own end-to-end shrink reduction programs that directly impact Amazon's bottom line - from identifying the problem through data and signals, to designing interventions that eliminate losses across the supply chain. This isn't a reporting role you'll build mechanisms, drive cross-org alignment across Operations, Technology, Retail, and Supply Chain teams, and see your work translate into measurable cost savings at scale. You'll join a dynamic, fast-paced, and supportive team that values innovation and strives to solve real-world challenges.

Are you passionate about tackling intricate problems and finding creative solutions to optimize complex supply chain processes Do you enjoy turning data-driven insights into action plans that shape the future If you're excited about driving change and influencing outcomes across a global network, this is the opportunity for you.

Our team is composed of skilled problem solvers who thrive on tackling cross-functional challenges. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our internal stakeholders with a solutions-oriented approach, always striving for the best possible outcome in everything we do.

Key job responsibilities

(1) End-to-End Defect Ownership: Use a data-backwards approach - mining shrink signals, and operational data, to identify root causes of supply chain defects, then design and implement scalable solutions that eliminate them permanently.
(2) Cross-Functional Program Leadership: Form and lead cross-org teams spanning Operations, Technology, Retail, and Supply Chain to drive programs from ideation through execution with high ownership.
(3) Data-Driven Solutioning: Translate complex data patterns into actionable interventions - sizing the opportunity, building mechanisms that prevent recurrence, and driving results without waiting for direction.
(4) Stakeholder Management: Drive alignment across multiple lines of business on program milestones, escalations, and process changes.

Key job responsibilities
. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive Cost to Serve (CTS) and Upstream Defect Elimination (UDE) programs, including establishing key performance indicators, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management on escalated issues, ensuring transparency and alignment. Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure smooth implementation across functions.

. Oversee project timelines, resources, and communication with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives. Manage day-to-day activities and adjust priorities based on emerging CTS reduction opportunities.
. Lead the expansion of CTS reduction efforts into new regions (e.g., APAC, AMENT/MENA) and fulfillment models (e.g., Fulfilled by Amazon, Merchant Fulfilled Network). Develop scalable solutions to address market-specific challenges while maintaining quality and aligning with strategic growth goals.
. Apply UDE principles to proactively identify and eliminate defects early in the supply chain, minimizing downstream impacts and driving long-term cost reductions.
