Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Program Manager – Unsecured Lending (SME) will be responsible for driving business growth, program execution, product performance, and operational efficiency for the Unsecured Lending (SME) segment.

The role will focus on revenue growth, program implementation, analytics, and process improvement, while working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Technology to ensure effective delivery and scalable business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business & Revenue Growth

  • Drive business growth for the Unsecured Lending (SME) portfolio in line with organizational targets
  • Define and execute growth strategies to scale the unsecured lending business
  • Monitor revenue, disbursement, and portfolio performance across regions
  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for business expansion

Program Management & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Unsecured Lending (SME) programs
  • Ensure smooth rollout of new initiatives, products, and process changes
  • Track program performance and ensure timely execution of deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution

Product Performance & Portfolio Management

  • Monitor product performance and portfolio health
  • Work closely with Credit and Risk teams to maintain asset quality
  • Analyze delinquency trends and recommend corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement in product offerings and pricing strategies

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key performance indicators such as disbursement, conversion, revenue, and portfolio quality
  • Prepare dashboards and business performance reports for leadership review
  • Use data-driven insights to improve program performance
  • Identify business gaps and recommend actionable solutions

Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency

  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Reduce turnaround time (TAT) and improve customer experience
  • Define SOPs and operational workflows for program execution
  • Work with operations and technology teams to automate processes

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Act as a central point of coordination for program-related activities
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and execution teams
  • Drive governance and review meetings with stakeholders

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • MBA / PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related discipline from a recognized institute
  • 6–12 years of experience in Unsecured Lending / SME Lending / Business Loans
  • Prior experience in NBFC / Bank / Fintech preferred
  • Experience in Program Management, Product Management, or Business Strategy roles preferred
  • Strong understanding of SME customer segment and unsecured lending lifecycle
  • Experience in handling cross-functional stakeholders and driving large-scale programs
  • Exposure to analytics, portfolio management, and business performance tracking preferred
