About the Role
We are looking for a Program Manager with strong experience in electronics and electrical systems within the Defence & Aerospace domain. The role involves end-to-end program management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Location: Bangalore, India || Experience: 5–8 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, and closure
- Develop, update, and track Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects
- Conduct project review meetings with stakeholders and customers; document MoMs and follow-ups
- Create and release Master Contracts, Quantity Contracts, and Value Contracts in SAP
- Manage project sales creation in SAP for invoicing
- Monitor project timelines, manpower budgets, and labour expenditures
- Identify and mitigate program risks and issues; ensure compliance with applicable standards and policies
- Ensure adherence to Defence & Aerospace processes and quality standards
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong communication (verbal & written), teamwork, and data interpretation skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP, MS Project, and Excel
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Teamcenter
- Understanding of MIL standards (AS9100, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810)
- Strong foundation in Electronics and Electrical Design, Testing, and Quality Assurance (QA)
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of IPC standards
Technical Competencies
- Understanding of Power Supply / EW Systems / Communication Modules
- Ability to interpret Bill of Materials (BOM), electrical and mechanical drawings, and cable harnesses
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) processes
Educational Qualification
- BE / BTech in Electronics or a related field
