Job Title: Program Manager: Customer Change Governance

Department: Operations

Location: Pune

Reports To: GM Operations

Job Purpose:

To lead and govern the end-to-end Change Management Process for customer-driven changes, ensuring controlled implementation of engineering, commercial, procurement, planning, production and quality changes while minimizing cost, schedule and operational risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end to end customer change requests and impact assessment – cost, timelines, associated risks and improvements

• Lead Change Control Dashboard.

• Coordinate Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Production and Quality functions

• Ensure configuration and revision control of drawings, BOMs and specifications.

• Drive risk mitigation and timely implementation of approved changes

• To reduce change related disruptions by implementing structured matrix and processes.

• Develop templates, workflows and KPI dashboards.

Key KPIs

• Change request closure lead time

• On-time implementation %

• Change-related production disruptions

• Inventory obsolescence due to changes

• Customer satisfaction and escalation metrics

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 12-15 years in manufacturing with at least 5 years in Engineering Change Management

• Operations Excellence, Project Management or Configuration Management

• Exposure to Electrical Panels, Switchgear, Control Panels or Enclosure Systems preferred

• Leadership, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, SAP/ERP knowledge, BOM management, Lean Manufacturing, risk assessment and strong communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical / electronic or instrumentation engineering • MBA – Operations / SCM can also be preferred

• 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing environment and 5-8 years of experience in Engineering Change Management
