You'll be our: Program Manager (Information Systems/Enterprise Tools)

What you'll do at Ather:

  • All of Ather's products are a great concoction of multiple components from different sub-systems (Hardware, Electrical, Electronics, Software, etc.). These need to integrate seamlessly and adapt to the Business requirements (New market development, city expansion, etc.) and deliver category-leading performance in every aspect. Hence you'll be involved in a lot of cross-functional team (CFT) coordination to solve complex technical/technology/Operational problems.
  • In this role, you will need to have good understanding of various enterprise tools like ERP SAP, Salesforce, ScaleX, DMS, LMS, CRM, etc. Good understanding of software development, release process, and integrating these tools to meet the business requirements, all while working in an agile environment with internal and external stakeholders/vendors.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of multiple scrum teams working on - Gathering and understanding business requirements, creating BRDs and PRDs, and evaluating various approaches to solutions.
  • The candidate must have a good understanding of Product Quality Metrics, Delivery Metrics, E2E - Development to Deployment process, and the Business impact of the feature/function/EPIC being developed.
  • Track their overall milestone deliverable - Activities including, but not limited to - planning, monitoring & closure for sprint activities.
  • Identify gaps in the system and establish steps to mitigate them. Improve the ways of working by implementing continuous feedback during retrospectives. Help set processes in place for efficient execution
  • Report any impediments/red flags & take initiatives to work with CFT for planning/mitigating/solving impediments to achieve objectives while adhering to strict deadlines/requirements on Quality, Cost, and Delivery parameters.
  • The team's efficiency depends on your ability to identify risks on a day-to-day basis, look for mitigation, and be a bridge with the other functions on any impediments.
  • True North Leadership: Drive enterprise-wide alignment by establishing clear linkages between organizational OKRs, P&L objectives, and program EPICs across Ather's electric vehicle ecosystem. Champion the proprietary Ather Product Delivery Systems (APDS) while leading digital transformation initiatives across 15-35 member cross-functional teams.
  • Scaling Excellence: Lead complex 6-9 month programs balancing competing stakeholder priorities in resource-constrained environments. Drive parallel execution strategies to optimize spend while reducing waste and change-over times across enterprise systems.
  • Change Catalyst: Navigate ambiguity in the rapidly evolving EV market by making risk adjusted decisions under pressure while ensuring zero-to-minimal BAU disruption, embodying Ather's Move Fast and Don't Break Things philosophy.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Bridge technical, business, and manufacturing teams while managing external supplier/vendor partnerships. Enable creative friction environments where teams challenge decisions not backed by data or misaligned with strategic objectives.
  • Continuous Innovation: Drive relentless improvement through systematic retrospectives, leveraging lessons learned to enhance resource utilization, execution de-risking, and team productivity.

Here's what we are looking for:

  • Should have good knowledge of software and enterprise tools, integration and release process, and development lifecycle(s).
  • Should be detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
  • Should be a self-starter & go-getter with the ability to multi-task and stay on top of a lot of things simultaneously
  • Should be savvy with relevant tools for project management like JIRA, Gantt Pro, G-Suite, etc.
  • Proactive, responsive, and keen on process enhancement. Proven ability to optimize execution and increase the predictability of the system
  • Possess excellent communication and have a good command of verbal and written skills
  • Keep a clear focus on details - the devil's in the details!
  • Your Knowledge of system components would help understand issues better. But more than that, your skills of facilitation and communication will be tested in this role. We would expect you have had some stint of using Agile/Scrum to manage and maintain complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Finally, a get-it-done attitude that helps deliver uncompromised quality on time is a must in this role.

What you'll bring to Ather:

  • A total experience of 9-11 years in Enterprise Tools Providers or SaaS organizations.
  • Preferably a background in delivering modules for various tools like - SAP, DMS, LMS, ERP, CRM, JIRA, etc.
  • BE/B.Tech (IT/CSE/ ECE/ EEE) degree in engineering is a requirement with a recent background in program/project management and help understand best practices in Scrum/Agile.
  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification, MBA, PMP/PGMP - This will be a definite plus but is not mandatory.
