Key Responsibilities
Industrial Engagement & Technology Adoption
- Engage directly with industries across cement, concrete, building materials, and industrial waste utilisation through plant visits, stakeholder meetings, and on-ground programme implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with plant heads, operations teams, sustainability leaders, industry associations, and technical consultants.
- Support proof-of-concept and pilot projects, helping translate research into practical applications within manufacturing environments.
- Represent the organisation at industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder platforms to strengthen partnerships and sector visibility.
Technology Commercialisation & Transfer
- Translate research and innovation into commercially viable, industry-facing solutions, particularly within building materials, cementitious materials, and industrial waste streams.
- Assess market readiness, technology adoption pathways, and commercialisation strategies in India and international markets.
- Support technology transfer, licensing discussions, intellectual property management, and commercial partnership agreements.
- Coordinate patent, copyright, and trademark processes for the organisation's technology portfolio.
Partnerships & Business Development
- Build collaborations with universities, research institutions, industry bodies, and technical partners.
- Track funding opportunities, sector developments, and research collaborations to identify new programme opportunities.
- Develop and nurture relationships with industry partners, consultants, and subject matter experts to enable technology adoption at scale.
Programme Management
- Lead project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance across multiple initiatives.
- Guide cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality programme delivery.
- Contribute to technical publications, knowledge products, and thought leadership initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- Approximately 9–14 years of professional experience with significant exposure to industrial sectors such as cement, steel, building materials, manufacturing, industrial sustainability, or energy-intensive industries.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing operations, industrial facilities, or technical implementation teams.
- Exposure to technology commercialisation, research-to-market initiatives, or industrial technology adoption is preferred.
- Experience in green building materials, cementitious materials, LC3, fly ash utilisation, circular economy, or related domains would be an advantage.

Candidates may come from:
- Large manufacturing or industrial organisations across cement, steel, energy, or building materials.
- Industrial sustainability consultancies or clean technology companies.
- Research institutions or development organisations focused on industrial sustainability, clean technology, or energy transition.
- Government programmes implementing industrial sustainability or resource efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Additional qualifications in management, policy, or sustainability are an advantage.
