Join our Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) supply chain team where you'll lead transshipment planning, network configurations, transportation cost optimization, and defect reduction for Amazon Now, Fresh, and SSD networks. Key job responsibilities
- Manage transshipment planning, network configurations, and transportation cost optimization for the GSF network, delivering projects that impact transportation cost per unit, on-time performance, and dwell metrics.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to reduce defects, improve network health, and optimize transportation operations across Amazon Now, Fresh, and SSD networks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), Scheduling, Network Operations Center (NOC), and Finance to align strategies and drive program success.
- Analyze transportation performance data, identify trends, and develop action plans to address systemic issues while tracking progress through relevant metrics.
- Partner with stakeholders to conduct deep dives into operational challenges, develop innovative solutions, and implement improvements that balance cost efficiency with operational excellence.

A day in the life
Your day begins with reviewing the GSF network's transshipment health metrics, focusing on transportation cost per unit, on-time performance, and dwell times. You'll identify trends and outliers requiring immediate attention while balancing longer-term improvement initiatives. Throughout the day, you'll lead program management efforts for network improvement and defect reduction, conduct stakeholder review calls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on strategic priorities and implementation plans.

About the team
The GSF supply chain team is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain for Amazon Now, Fresh, and SSD networks. We focus on optimizing transportation operations, improving network efficiency, and enhancing the customer experience across these specialty fulfillment services. As our networks continue to grow, particularly Amazon Now, we face increasingly complex challenges that provide team members with exceptional learning opportunities and the chance to make significant impacts on our evolving delivery capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
