What You'll Do
Electrical Sector Americas is seeking a Program Manager II with strong leadership, technical acumen, and a passion for transformation. This role is responsible for architecting and driving ES A Functional Excellence initiatives, with a clear focus on operational impact, financial performance, and engineering productivity.
This role plays a critical part in strengthening Eaton's PROLaunch product development lifecycle, embedding lean and continuous improvement practices, and enabling the sector to achieve 2× throughput objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drives alignment and prioritization of Functional Excellence initiatives across ES Americas through coordination with Enterprise Councils and business units
- Leads the O4G ENOVIA migration program, providing clear communication on status, risks, milestones, and timelines to leadership
- Develops and implements standard work, processes, tools, and governance models to improve program management maturity across Engineering
- Manages and monitors ES A adherence to enterprise Functional Excellence expectations using data mining, analytics, dashboards, and KPIs
- Implements and scales enterprise tools and processes by leading pilots and driving adoption post validation
- Supports and enhances Engineering performance dashboards, metrics, and review cadences across ES A
- Coordinates and executes cross functional enterprise improvement initiatives aligned to business and engineering objectives
- Improves engineer capacity and user experience across the product development lifecycle through streamlined processes
- Collaborates with global, cross functional stakeholders to improve key business metrics such as time to market and operational efficiency
- Leads culture change initiatives, reinforcing continuous improvement and lean thinking across multiple departments
- Manages multiple programs simultaneously, adjusting priorities to meet evolving business needs
- Coaches and trains program managers and stakeholders to reinforce best practices and continuous improvement behaviors
Qualifications
B.E. / B Tech / M Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics)
12+Years of experience in Program and portfolio management.
Skills
- Experience working with global engineering teams
- Knowledge of electrical components (breakers, meters, relays, switches, etc.)
- Experience with portfolio management tools
- PMP or equivalent PMI certification
- Ability to initiate recommendations to division portfolio leaders and PMO directors for review and approval
- Effectiveness in diverse cultural and global environments
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across multiple organizational levels
- High level of independence, ownership, and accountability
