Job Description
As a visionary leader, you will define the strategy, build capabilities, and lead large-scale global delivery for our data engineering practice. With 25+ years of experience, you will establish eClerx as a market leader in cloud data platforms and modern data architecture, owning practice growth, client engagement, and P&L.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the global Data Engineering COE vision, roadmap, and operating model, building industry-leading capabilities.
- Own practice P&L, revenue growth, and margin improvement, identifying new market opportunities and partnerships.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, leading large deal solutioning and RFPs.
- Drive consultative selling with domain-led data engineering solutions, establishing long-term client relationships.
- Provide executive oversight for enterprise data platforms and lakehouse architecture, governing best practices.
- Sponsor innovation in real-time data, data products, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Lead large global delivery teams, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery with strong financial governance.
- Build and mentor next-generation data engineering leadership, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key ecosystem players, co-creating solutions and GTM programs.
- Manage complex transformation programs and multi-million-dollar portfolios with strong business acumen.
Qualifications
- 25+ years of experience in data engineering, with global leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling data engineering practices/COEs.
- Strong experience in managing multi-million-dollar portfolios with P&L ownership.
- Deep expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and data governance.
- Demonstrated success in large deal solutioning and executive client engagement.
- Experience leading large global teams and complex transformation programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication skills.
- Strong business acumen to align technology with revenue and growth strategies.
- Ability to foster a high-performance, innovation-driven culture.
- A passion for driving business transformation through advanced analytics and automation.
