Program Manager

Position Summary

The Retail Technology Delivery Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating offshore delivery activities, while building, nurturing and coaching Bridgestone's Retail Technology offshore teams. Thiss role serves as the primary delivery lead for a portfolio of retail applications and platforms, partnering closely with North American business stakeholders, Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and technical teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives and operational support. The position oversees offshore resources including developers, testers, integration specialists, reporting analysts, and Scrum Masters while ensuring quality delivery, platform stability, and continuous improvement.

This position requires a strong combination of technical understanding, Agile delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and experience working across global teams in a fast-paced retail technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Culture & People Leadership: Build and sustain a high-performing, inclusive, and accountable team culture across global and offshore delivery organizations.
• Lead end-to-end offshore delivery for retail technology projects, enhancements, and support initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities across development, testing, integration, reporting, and support teams to ensure successful execution of delivery commitments.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor project progress, sprint outcomes, resource utilization, and delivery milestones while proactively identifying and resolving risks and impediments.
• Collaborate with North America-based Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to align priorities and communicate project status.
• Ensure delivery quality through adherence to development standards, testing practices, release management processes, and operational support procedures.
• Provide delivery oversight for teams supporting ERP applications, MuleSoft integrations, reporting solutions, front-end and back-end applications, automation frameworks, and quality assurance functions.
• Support solution design discussions and collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery efficiency, quality, team productivity, and business process optimization.
• Foster strong collaboration between offshore and onshore teams while promoting accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of information technology experience with a Retail Technology focus on application delivery, systems integration, or enterprise technology platforms.
• 5+ years of experience leading offshore delivery teams supporting global organizations.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives involving software development, integration, testing, and production support.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience working directly with US-based stakeholders and managing cross-functional global teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive successful outcomes in a matrixed environment.
  
  

Technical Qualifications

• Experience delivering and supporting large SAP S4 projects
• Knowledge of MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platforms.
• Understanding of application development lifecycle processes across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Experience working with quality assurance, test automation, and release management processes.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics solutions supporting business operations.
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail industry experience supporting store operations, customer-facing technologies, or enterprise retail systems.
• Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, PMP, or related Agile certification.
• Experience managing vendor-delivered services and offshore delivery models.
• Exposure to omnichannel retail, eCommerce, POS, inventory management, or customer engagement platforms.
