Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized Junior Program Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, product managers, and operations teams to ensure timely program delivery, risk tracking, and effective communication.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in program management while gaining experience in managing multiple workstreams, stakeholder coordination, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams to track deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
- Support program governance activities including status reporting, risk management, and escalation tracking
- Maintain project plans, dashboards, documentation, and meeting cadences
- Drive follow-ups and ensure action items are completed on time
- Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and align priorities
- Monitor program KPIs, milestones, budgets, and resource utilization
- Facilitate sprint reviews, project reviews, and stakeholder meetings
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives
- Prepare executive-level updates and reports for leadership reviews
- Prepare various metrics which are program specific (Velocity, Cycle time, Throughput, Burndowns, Sprint burndown etc using JIRA data and JIRA dashboards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- 6–8 years of experience in program management, project coordination, operations, or related roles
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and Agile practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders across teams and functions
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with a structured approach to execution
