Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of the Program
- Planning, organizing, implementing, and managing the project daily to deliver outcomes within defined timelines.
- Supervising project staff and assisting the Program Manager in building the capacity of the project team.
- Devising and executing community mobilization strategies to strengthen engagement, including engaging mothers and enrolling new children.
- Liaising with government officers and district-level departments for the effective execution of ACT programs.
- Setting up volunteer orientation and induction programs.
- Supporting the volunteer program, including volunteerchild mapping, weekly group meetings, and quarterly volunteer meetings.
- Partner Relationship Management
- Conducting periodic onsite visits to partner colleges and schools.
- Documentation of the Program
- Preparing and maintaining programmatic reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing weekly volunteer reports and related documentation.
- Impact Assessment of the Program
- Conducting daily monitoring and evaluation of project progress in coordination with the Program Manager for continuous improvement.
- Supporting and coordinating annual child assessments.
- Data Capturing and Analysis
- Timely capturing and updating data related to students, parents, child attendance, performance, progress, and volunteer hours.
- Representing the program in interactions with internal and external stakeholders by providing accurate field-level data for monthly, quarterly, yearly, and other reports.
- Support Functions
- Managing budgets and tracking expenses across various programs.
- Supporting fundraising, communication, and other teams by contributing to descriptive and narrative reports.
- Coordinating inventory management for program-related activities with the admin team.
- Assisting with general administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth program functioning.
About Company: Ashwini Charitable Trust fondly referred to as act by its trustees, volunteers, and sponsors - is an NGO that was started in the year 2000 by a group of women to educate and empower underprivileged children of Ulsoor slums in Bangalore. The work at act involves many people: our volunteers, our donors, our staff, and our helpers. The helpers comprise of act mothers - the mothers of children who are registered with the trust.
