Climate Ready Leaders (CRL) works with organizations, professionals and institutions to build climate and sustainability awareness, capability and action.
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive and communications-savvy person to support the delivery of a multi-month sustainability program.

You will also support the communications and creative requirements of the programme using Canva and other simple design tools.

- Circulate meeting notes and follow up on agreed actions.
- Keep program documents, folders and trackers organised.
- Flag delays, gaps or issues to the Program Lead.
2. Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison
- Coordinate with creative/design agencies, suppliers, technical partners and other external contributors.
- Follow up for information, proposals, documents, creative inputs and approvals.
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables across multiple contributors.
- Support briefing of external agencies and vendors.
- Maintain professional communication with programme stakeholders.
- Help ensure that agreed deliverables are received on time.
3. Meetings & Client Support
- Participate in meetings and calls as part of the CRL program team.
- Prepare agendas, presentations and briefing materials.
- Take notes and maintain action trackers.
- Support follow-up communication after meetings.
- Ensure that the Program Lead has the information and materials needed for important calls.
4. Communications
- Create and edit simple presentations and program materials using Canva.
- Adapt existing CRL templates and brand assets.
- Support creation of simple social media/event communications.
- Format documents, reports and presentations professionally.
- Draft straightforward emails, announcements and follow-up communications.
- Liaise with creative agencies on more complex design requirements.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with approximately 1–4 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Program/project coordination
- Communications or PR
- Events
- Agency/client servicing
- NGO/development sector
- Sustainability or purpose-led organizations
- Startup or consulting environments
You should have:
- Excellent written and spoken English

- Confidence participating in professional meetings and calls
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of design tools like Canva
- An eye for clean, professional presentation and design
- Ability to maintain trackers and manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to work independently and proactively
What We Value
The right person will be someone who:
- Does what they say they will do
- Follows up without needing to be reminded.
- Is comfortable communicating with senior professionals and external partners.
- Can keep track of details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Is comfortable joining calls and taking responsibility for follow-through.
- Has good judgement about when to solve something independently and when to escalate it.
- Is comfortable working remotely.
- Enjoys working in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.
- Has an interest in sustainability and climate issues.
Time Commitment
Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility depending on program activity.
