Program Analyst, DSP Program

The AMZL OTR Capacity Planning team at Amazon India is hiring for Program Analyst position. We are looking for a candidate with strong performance record and experience. AMZL OTR Capacity Planning team comprising of a short-term resource planners for Out-on-road last mile delivery stations. Aim is to optimize cost, reduce operator cognitive load , increase planning accuracy & automate processes.

The Candidate Is Expected To :

• be able to take a complex problem and break it down to smaller digestible chunks

• develop a good understanding of Network & Supply chain with hands on experience on SQL

Candidate must know and love working with business intelligence tools, be comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and enthusiastic about partnering with the business to deliver results. They would be self-starters, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. They must demonstrate a high bar on Bias for Action, Deep Dive, Learn and Be Curious, Insist on highest standards and Ownership

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Set up robust processes to drive improvement projects with an objective to maximize the consumer experience
• Identify, plan and execute automation projects within the team.
• Create and work on big data using SQL, Amazon S3, Quick sight to provide actionable insights, dashboards, automate systems using Python scripts and macros
• Support the business growth in constrained environments with frugal and innovative solutions
• Make the existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools/automation
• Rollout standardization of tools and processes to minimize end to end supply chain losses & figure out Plan v/s Actual gaps, bridges and waterfalls
• Utilize exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations and technical audiences

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, aggregate analytical functions & data mining
• Engineering graduate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SQL, Data visualization and advanced excel

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in logistics
