Key Responsibilities:
Finance
  • Contribute to achieving financial targets and business composition goals of the organization.
  • Achieve ROI that surpasses the benchmark index for the portfolio, while managing acceptable risk levels.
  • Guide Wealth Managers on the latest products to enhance their sales pitches.
  • Actively engage in internal discussions to collaboratively develop house views across asset classes and create effective investment strategies.
  • Propose new product concepts to the Investment Committee.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance the investment platform by staying current with market developments, including automation, process optimization, and compliance with regulatory changes.

Client
  • Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining a portfolio aligned with their risk tolerance, financial goals, and investment preferences.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships, focusing on high retention through consistent performance and transparent communication.
  • Provide clients with clear, understandable updates on portfolio performance and market conditions.
  • Tailor investment strategies to meet each client's unique financial goals (e.g., retirement, education, wealth preservation).

Risk and Governance
    • Comply with regulations and internal policies and procedures to ensure that the firm achieves high compliance standards.
    • Conduct quarterly portfolio reviews with clients.
    • Contribute to systemization and platform strengthening to achieve scale and sustainability
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Manage financial, regulatory and reputational risks for the firm and its clients prudently.

People
    • Participating in cross functional projects
    • Foster teamwork and collaboration at all levels of the organization
    • Engage effectively with internal stakeholders, particularly the investment teams to ensure successful outcomes for the firm and clients.
    • Pursue knowledge-enhancing initiatives and secure mandatory certifications/licenses, adhering to the personal development plan.

Key Role Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.


Certifications
  • Holding or pursuing a chartered program, preferably Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
  • Required NISM Certifications (5A, 21A) or any other as prescribed.


Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in investment management, specifically for the HNI segment in Wealth Management.


Technical Skills
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, economic principles, and portfolio theory.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, interpret market trends, and make informed investment decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant investment laws and regulations.


Power Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain investment strategies and address client inquiries.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships based on trust and a deep understanding of their needs.
