Professor of Law

Role Description: The Professor of Law will be responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, including lectures, seminars, and tutorials, in an on-site setting in Amravati. This full-time role includes preparing syllabi and teaching materials, assessing student performance, providing academic guidance, and mentoring learners. The professor will engage in legal research, publish scholarly work, participate in academic committees, and contribute to curriculum development. Additional responsibilities include organizing academic events, collaborating with colleagues on institutional initiatives, and promoting a culture of academic integrity and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• PhD and master's degree in law from a recognized university.
• Experience in academic administration, participation in committees, or accreditation processes is an advantage.
• Strong foundation in law with the ability to teach a broad range of legal subjects.
• Proven skills in legal research, including publication of articles, papers, or books.
• Demonstrated teaching skills, including course design, student assessment, and mentoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
• Familiarity with contemporary legal issues, case law analysis, and interdisciplinary approaches.
