Professor of Computer Science

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Professor of Computer Science. The Professor will be responsible for designing and updating technology-based curricula, creating and delivering engaging course content across various platforms, and providing guidance to students in their learning journey. Key areas of focus include Computer Science concepts, Data Science, Programming, and Cybersecurity, tailored to diverse learners. Collaboration with instructional designers and participation in continuous course improvement and innovation is also expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related teaching experience in Computer science field
• Ph.D is mandatory
• Only Professors can apply
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in Computer Science, Data Science
• Experience in Curriculum Development for technology-focused subjects
• Proficiency in one or more Programming languages
• Excellent communication and teaching skills to effectively engage diverse learners
• Ability to create inclusive and accessible learning content
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in online education or e-learning platforms is a plus
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative educational environment
