POSITION SUMMARY
We invite applications for a transformative faculty position to establish our Center for Cognitive Technology & Consumer Insights. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research Innovation:
- Lead cutting-edge research in cognitive psychology applied to technology use, consumer decision-making, and digital behavior
- Establish interdisciplinary research programs combining neuroscience, behavioral economics, and user experience design
- Develop novel methodologies integrating traditional psychological research with big data analytics, eye-tracking, and neuroimaging
- Secure competitive funding from NSF, NIH, industry partners, and international research councils (target: $1.5M+ annually)
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals across psychology, technology, and business domains
Academic Excellence:
- Design innovative courses bridging cognitive psychology, consumer behavior, UX/UI design, and technology ethics
- Mentor Ph.D. students in interdisciplinary research methodologies and industry applications
- Develop executive education programs for technology companies, marketing agencies, and consulting firms
- Create experiential learning opportunities through industry partnerships and real-world research projects
- Lead undergraduate research initiatives and honors thesis programs
Industry Impact:
- Collaborate with technology companies on user experience research and product development
- Advise startups and established firms on consumer psychology and behavioral design

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, or related field from a top-tier research university
- Minimum 7 years of post-doctoral research experience with demonstrated excellence
- Proven track record of high-impact publications (minimum 20 peer-reviewed articles) in leading psychology and applied journals
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, and experimental design
- Experience with consumer behavior research and technology-related psychological phenomena
- Strong grant writing record with successful funding acquisition ($750K+ lifetime total)
