Job Description

The Professor of General Medicine will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to medical students and residents while also engaging in clinical practice and research. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the field and a strong commitment to academic excellence.

Responsibilities

Teach and develop curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate students in General Medicine.
Conduct research in the field of General Medicine and publish findings in reputable medical journals.
Supervise and mentor residents and interns in clinical settings.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic planning and administration.
Provide expert consultation in clinical settings and engage in patient care as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
8-12 years of post-qualification teaching and clinical experience in General Medicine.
Strong understanding of current medical practices and advancements in General Medicine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and faculty.
Ability to conduct and supervise research in medical sciences.
