An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in Arts/ Science discipline with Statistics as a subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
M.Sc. degree in Statistics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
A minimum of three years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Associate Professor in Statistics from University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level in the subject of Statistics.
A minimum of ten research publications in peer reviewed/UGC listed/CARE listed journals out of which three research papers shall be published during the assessment period.
Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching learning process.
FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Eligibility:
Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in Arts/ Science discipline with Statistics as a subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
M.Sc. degree in Statistics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
A minimum of three years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in Statistics from a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry.
A candidate must have completed any one of the following: (a) RC/ Methodology Workshop/Syllabus Up-gradation Workshop/ Teaching- Learning-Evaluation Technology Programme/ FDP (10 days), (b) two courses of 10 days duration. Each course of 5 days duration, (c ) One MOOC course.
A minimum of five publications as books and/or research papers in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed Journals.
FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

M.Sc. degree in Statistics with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET in Statistics subject.
Minimum two publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
